This is how they roll at the 'monk.  Fresh, untapped kegs just for us.

How it's done.......

The first and only time I have seen empty glasses at a Yelp event.  Don't worry, it sure didn't last long.  Shout out to the brewmaster in the background!

Checking in to check it out.

Nom noms!  Pizzas, mini burgers, hummus, salads, and all the fixings one could want.

Like moths to a flame, Yelpers to a freshly tapped keg....

....and to the fantastic food!

Schmoozin' and boozin'

2010 HIGH SCHOOL GRADS

The season is nearing, your dreams are growing, the many applications are filled out, and you are officially in whirlwind mode.

Before that big gust of life sends you forth, take a look back on everything.  Pull out the old yearbooks and read the goofy things your friends wrote, have a good laugh at your first crush, wonder why picture day always seemed to land on a bad hair day, and enjoy the memories.  Life is about to get busy, and you will soon find a whole new world, very different than the one you know now.

Before you take that sassy, serious, or scared walk across the stage, consider a photo session with The Click Chick to mark this great transition.

Contact me today for a consultation and booking!  I have a lot of ideas, and I would love to hear yours too!

Yelp!

Some of you may know that I am a long time member of  Yelp.  Yelp's motto or tagline if you will is "Real people, real reviews."

I logged in the first time 3 years ago to write a scathing review of an abysmal dining experience. Since that first review, I have written about the good, the bad, and the ugly all around me. I eventually became an elite member, after a nomination by one of my peers. Being elite is a reward of sorts....a reward for contributing your time and effort to this helpful and (mostly) honest database. (I say mostly because where there is the internet, a troll is sure to be.) Elite members of Yelp are able to enjoy all sorts of lovely parties, complete with sustenance, libations, laughs, and wonderful hosts and hostesses. I have seen galleries, party rooms, and private clubs that I would not have been able to experience otherwise. I have tried bizarre food and drink, received bags of swag, handfuls of chocolates, an entire pie (ask Charlie about that one) and countless interesting conversations with other Yelpers.

So, why is this on my photography site?

Because I was asked to photograph some suburban elite events, that's why! I am excited for a lot of reasons. First, I will get to meet more people. I am terrible with names, though. I am "one of those" people that assign nicknames right away. Some people love it, some loathe it. Let's all hope I don't get punched on my first go, eh?

My first event is on Thursday, February 18th.  If anyone needs me, I will be cleaning my lenses, charging my battery, and clearing off the SD card.
