Scott and Lindsay's shower!

Though Saturday’s forecast called for showers in our area, they were only partially right. I spent the afternoon photographing a wedding shower for Scott and Lindsay. They were surrounded by friends and family in a lovely cafĂ© in Elmhurst…….

I took the opportunity to get a few shots of the couple and the Mom's before the party started.

Guests started to arrive very quickly.  The room was quickly full of people, gifts, and joy.

I am looking forward to Scottie and Lindsay's wedding in a few weeks.
Best wishes, and thank you for your business!

Goodbye, Hello........2010 Graduate!

Time to say goodbye to High School, and hello to a new world. Before things start moving at the speed of college, we braved the 90 degree heat and captured the day, the feeling, and the moment. Enjoy, and congrats to Miss J.

Fun and Funds!

My first donated photo package was won by the lovely and friendly Kate.  We got really lucky with the weather, and everyone (man and beast) was in a good mood.  Enjoy!

Sue's first taste of grass for the year.

Sue, being a reining QH. Too bad she's an OTTB.

Ut Oh.....here comes Mom.  Fun time is almost over......

Sue, giving her opinion.

Looking sharp.  Squiggy is doing his best trying not to wig out.

Squiggy: "If I close my eyes real tight, she just dissapears!"

Nice candid of the fur-family

His royal majesty, Prince Squiggy of Lemontonia

Squiggy is afraid of Sue.  During this series of shots, Squiggy went to his inner "happy place"
to avoid a meltdown.  It was pretty funny.

The very sassy inmate, Bertha.

.........and a big thank you to Kate for supporting the American Cancer Society.

BirthRight----Chicago metal band

Ahhhhhhhhh yeah.  First time out of the constraints of the practice space!  I was lucky enough to get a chance to photograph these guys tonight.  Not only were they fun subjects for me, they provided a brand of musical entertainment that stays crunchy in milk.  A quick sample of my "artsy" shots here, and as always, scrooooool down to the bottom of the blog for the full album!
